Ms Roseanna Cunningham MSP has highlighted a public meeting to be held in her constituency on the subject of flooding resilience.  The event – entitled Tackling Flooding Together – takes place in Perth on Saturday 16 February from 10.30 am to 2.30pm in the National Christian Outreach Centre, Riggs Road, Perth, PH1 1PR.

Ms Cunningham said:

“Tackling Flooding Together is a Scotland-wide flood resilience campaign being launched by the Scottish Flood Forum and Flood Re to mobilise and engage with communities on the ground in flood affected areas.

“It is hoped that these events will bring communities together to share experiences of flooding, find out information about support and consider how they can better work together.

“Unfortunately, I am already committed to another public meeting event in Crieff which is on at the same time as this one but I am very happy to help spread the word about an event which I am certain will be interesting and helpful to many.

“Free parking is available at the venue, travel expenses may be reimbursed and free tickets can be obtained via Eventbrite.”
