Ms Roseanna Cunningham MSP, has highlighted to local organisations a rebranding exercise being carried out by the Big Lottery Fund which will, from now on, be known as The National Lottery Community Fund.

Ms Cunningham said:

“I been contacted by Dawn Austwick, Chief Executive of the Big Lottery Fund, informing me of their rebranding exercise and that, from now own, the organisation will be known as The National Lottery Community Fund, which they feel better describes their purpose.

“Over the year, many local groups and organisations in Perthshire South & Kinross-shire have received important funding from the Big Lottery Fund and I want to help spread the word to ensure that as many people as possible are made aware of this change and that, while the name may have changed, the funding opportunities remain.

“I am assured that the National Lottery Community Fund will continue to place people and communities at the heart of their grant making with the programmes delivering support in Scotland remaining unchanged and I look forward to welcoming many more funding announcements for local projects in the future.”
