Ms Roseanna Cunningham MSP has welcomed the announcement that Blackford Bowling Club has received a £5,000 National Lottery "Awards for All Scotland" grant from SportScotland.

 Ms Cunningham said:

“I am delighted for everyone involved with the Blackford Bowling Club and particularly for those involved in putting the lottery bid together.

“I understand that this money is intended to be used to install a ramp and handrails which will improve disabled access to their bowling green by installing a ramp and handrails.

“As well as making the club much more accessible to potential new members with disabilities, it will doubtless also enable older players to extend their playing careers."




NOTE: National Lottery Awards For All Scotland gives groups a chance to apply for a National Lottery grant of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that aim to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need. National Lottery Awards for All Scotland awards grants to community, arts and sports groups on behalf of Big Lottery Fund Scotland, Creative Scotland and sportscotland.
