Roseanna Cunningham MSP has welcomed a response she has received from Perth& Kinross Council regarding parking in Crieff.

She said:

“I have received a number of concerns about parking in Crieff and wrote to the Council urging them to consider extending the 15-minute free parking period to Crieff and allowing motorists to park for longer in the King Street Car Park.

“I am delighted to have now received a response saying the 15 minutes’ free parking will be introduced in Crieff from this April and that, in addition, the maximum stay in the King Street Car Park will increase from two hours to three hours.

“This news will be welcomed by many in Crieff and I am really pleased that the Council has listened to - and acted on - the views that have been conveyed to them.”
