ROSEANNA WELCOMES LOTTERY AWARD FOR SEAMAB SCHOOL

Ms Roseanna Cunningham MSP has welcomed the news that Seamab School in her constituency has recently received a £9,995 National Lottery "Awards for All Scotland" grant from the Big Lottery Fund. The funds will buy five electrically assisted mountain bikes suitable for use by children.

Ms Cunningham said:

“I am really pleased that Seamab School in Rumbling Bridge has been awarded just short of £10,000, a significant sum which will fund the purchase of five electrically assisted mountain bikes.

“The work done by the staff at Seamab in educating and caring for young people with a range of complex needs, many of whom have experienced trauma and loss.

“Seamab’s ambition is to give the children in their care a childhood in which they feel safe, happy and secure.  This award will help them to continue that important and wonderful work."
